Spring Nucs

Description

A nuc, short for nucleus hive, is 5 frames of bees, pollen, honey, brood and a laying queen.  Spring nucs will be available in early Spring.  The benefits to purchasing nucs over packages are

• The hive is already established with their laying queen, as indicated by the presence of eggs, larva and brood
• Minimal set up time; no installation required
• No waiting to see if the queen is accepted or rejected
• Earlier honey production & storage in the hive
• Spring nucs have a young verile queen, born the year of pickup.

You may purchase a 5-frame hive box or bring your own, NEW hive box.  (Hive box not included).
